While it’s essential to see a dentist for a toothache, there are a few household items that can help alleviate the pain.
- Raid your spice rack as toothache can be eased by cloves and a mixture of crushed garlic and salt
- Peppermint tea has antibacterial properties. Allow a cup to cool and rinse your mouth with it or hold the slightly warm wet teabag directly against the painful teeth.
- If the pain lasts for more than a couple of days make sure to visit your dentist.
